IMI, Delhi is better but it is not that bad. First of all analyse yourself whether you want to go for core finance job or banking field sales.

You can sit for CAT after graduation and than apply for good MBA colleges. IIM-Kolkata is best for Finance, you can also look for NMIMS, FMS, TAPMI, IFMR, GIM, LBS-Delhi for Finance. In finance, particularly financial analytics is much required in most of the investment banks and credit rating agencies.

The first thing to do is check out the best B-Schools in India for Finance. Of course, IIMs are the best institutes, but better to know in detail according to the specialization. This can be done with a little bit of effort.
The second thing would be to check the eligibility for the course. The cut-off scores of competitive exams (CAT, XAT, IIFT, MAT, etc) and the required percentage in graduation, Xth and XIIth.
The next obvious thing is to join a coaching institute. T.I.M.E is the best for CAT coaching institute according to me. Prepare hard and get admission in a good B-School.
All the best.

No, there is no sports quota for management courses in DU.
As far as I know, admission will be purely on merit basis.
