Hello Anil,
If you are desirous of this course then you will have to leave job and then join course unless of course if your employer is granting you study leave. It would perhaps be better if you can think of doing PG Diploma via distance education say from IGNOU.

Hello Prajwal,
Admissions to degree course depends on your success in CET conducted by your state. One year diploma will not be of any help.

If I had to sum up the placements of safety and fire engineering from CUSAT, I would say it is better than any other branch that the college offers.
Let me start by giving you an idea of the pros and cons of placement at this college:
Pros:
100% batch placement for fire and safety engineering branch.
Starting salary of 8-10 lacs for the same branch.
The placement and training cell is highly responsive and has managed to attract a lot of companies for its fire and safety department.
Many numbers if PSU'S and other more private firms show up during placement season of the college.
Also, you get many opportunities for internships too.

Fire engineering provides many options and opportunities for those who are interested in grabbing the chance to develop and learn something new. It is one of the dangerous fields but it allows one to protect others from any danger. Engineers of this field can go in any sector either government or private according to their interest and choices. They can also get employed in other industries such as chemical or inflammable products manufacturing firms like petroleum refineries, textiles, fertilizers, etc. The scope is very vast in the field of manufacturing, chemicals, handling bottling plants.
