Foreign Medical Graduate Examination Dates:
1- Online registration starts: 09-Sep-2022 (3 pm onwards)
2- The last date to submit the application form online is 29-Sep-2022 (till 11: 55 pm)
3- Correction window for application: 05-Oct-2022 to 10-Oct-2022
4- Final correction window: 24-Dec-2022 to 30-Dec-2022
5- Admit cards will be released online on 13-Jan-2023
6- Exam date: 20-Jan-2023
7- Result announced: 10-Feb-2023
8- FMGE 2022 Pass Certificates: To be announced

Admission process:
1- first check the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination eligibility criteria.
2- Then start applying for the examination.
3- The candidates will have to upload the documents online and also in the required JPEG format.
4- After uploading all documents, pay the fee online paid via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
5- Review and Submit.

FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) is a licensing examination conducted by the NBE (National Board of Examinations). An Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) who has completed their primary medical qualification from an institution outside India, but wishes to practice in India needs to clear this examination to register with the NMC (National Medical Commission)/SMC (State Medical Council). Hi. National Medical Commission (NMC) is replacing the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination FMGE with the National Exit Test (Next). Next is expected to be conducted from 2022. The main reason given for the change is that FMGE judges candidates knowledge based on conceptual questions. But Next will be based on clinical questions. So likely in 2023, FMGE will not be held. Till now there no official notification about the matter, keep on checking the official site to stay updated. Yes, you do need to give a test here in India. Furthermore, you can check with the particular college you are targeting whether it is taking the test or not. Accordingly, you can decide.
