Average Starting Salary - INR 2 to 6 lacs per annum but it may vary from institute to institute and also the job position matters some of them are:
Food Technologist, Food Quality Assurance Manager, Front Line Executive / Field Sales Executive – Food Processing, Production Supervisor and Marketing Manager – Food Processing among others.

Hi Krishan, It depends on your interest. Both the courses are good and have bright future. Diploma in Food Production is a 1.6-year long course followed by 24 weeks of industrial training. The minimum eligibility for pursuance of the course is the successful completion of the 10+2 level of education, or a Bachelors degree, depending on the type of the course. Candidates who have successfully completed 10+2 with English as a compulsory subject from a recognized higher secondary board are eligible for admission to Diploma course in IHM Chandigarh.
Candidates for the diploma course are evaluated purely on the basis of their academic performance.
