I can say MIT College of Food Technology, Loni Kalbhor, Maharashtra is the best college for food technology in Maharashtra.
Placements: Prof. A. Todmal and Prof. S. Gaikwad handle all the placements. There is a placement cell in which students are working consistently under the placement officer. They take to account the interest of students and help them get internships as well as placements accordingly. Our seniors are already working in the well-known industries at good positions.

Hi Shoma,
As per the information provided by the college, there are a number of companies that visit the college for placements. Please check the list (as provided by the college).
American Megatrends, Aon Hewitt, Aspire, BirlaSoft, CADeploy, Capgemini, Convergys, CSS Corp, CTS, Excelacomm, First American India, Glenwood Systems, ICICI Securities, IDBI Bank, KGISL, Mind Tree Polaris, Sans Pareil, Strategi Automation, Sure Soft Systems, Vee Technologies, Wipro and Zifo Technologies.
There are about 60 seats for this course so I believe such a number of companies coming for placements are good against the number of students.

The food processing industry offers an extensive range of job opportunities for a varied range of professionals: managers, food technologists, engineering graduates; therefore, a professional willing to explore his career in it, definitely can look for a right designation. You can choose to be a food technologist. Food technologists are responsible for developing safe and efficient food that is consumable and saleable at commercial markets. They are involved in the modification and manufacturing steps of food products. Food technologists also plan recipes and manage food production on a large scale.

Dear Dhruv,
The chances of campus placement after completing B. Tech in Food Technology from Guru Jambeshwar University is very less GJU does not work to improve their placement, it would be good if you choose some other university for B. Tech in food tech. University like Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology. Hoping you will understand.
