If you want to pursue B.Tech in Food Technology, after completing class 12th, you have to select subject as PCMB. Maths is required for JEE exam for B.Tech.

It's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your PG in food technology. If it's MTech then it will not be allowed to be offered by distance education since UGC has disallowed distance education mode for all professional courses. However, if it's MSc then you can think of it.

B.Tech food tech is a very good course to choose from if done from a good institution. It has a good scope in many government as well as private sectors. You can get food inspector job, food engineers, etc. MNC hires youth with food tech for food engineers and quality managers. Every firm must have a food engineer as per government law. Go for it as it had got a great future.

To pursue B.Tech in Food technology, you should choose Amity Jaipur as you will get good placements and affordable fees with good infrastructure and also many other activities.
