You have to be graduate in a particular stream of B.Sc. It may be, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Home Science, Agriculture, Food Science and Nutrition, Food Technology with aggregate of 50 %, some universities have their own entrance exams once you qualify that exam you can get admission that particular college or university. All three are different fields from one another. One can make a better career with his hard work and interest in the subject. Don't decide on the basis of good career but decide on the basis of inclination towards the subjects. BE food technology is available in department of chemical engineering, Panjab University. Admission is based purely on your JEE Mains score and ranking. You'll have to apply as per the notifications issued. Then merit lists will be prepared for various courses available by JAC (joint admission committee) including food technology. You can check PU, Chandigarh or JAC site for previous year cutoffs. Hope it helped.

you can opt for Food Technology after BIPC. There are a number of options that you can opt for such as:
B.Sc in Food Processing, Food Storage, Preservation and Food Tech
B.Tech in Food Technology/ Food Science
