The eligibility criteria for M.Sc (Food Technology) is B.Sc (Agri)/ B.Sc (Hons) (Agri)/ B.Tech(Food Tech)/ B.Sc(Food science-4 years) or B.Sc (home science-4 years with elective in food and nutrition) with a minimum of 60% marks. The total no. of available seats are 10. The admissions are based on MET-Agri (An entrance exam) to be conducted in the month of July-2019. The application process for admission will start in the 3rd week of April-2019 and will continue till 2nd week of May-2019.

Hello Aksh,
Food Technology and food nutrition both to me appear to the branches, which will be in great demand in the times to come. Food technology will be definitely required in future so that the increased crop production or the Horticulture production can be utilized gainfully without being waste. On the other hand food nutrition will be the demand of people so that they eat nutritious food to maintain their health. Hence I feel both branches have equal opportunities as the time goes on.
