The eligibility criteria for M.Sc (Food Technology) is B.Sc (Agri)/ B.Sc (Hons) (Agri)/ B.Tech(Food Tech)/ B.Sc(Food science-4 years) or B.Sc (home science-4 years with elective in food and nutrition) with a minimum of 60% marks. The total no. of available seats are 10. The admissions are based on MET-Agri (An entrance exam) to be conducted in the month of July-2019. The application process for admission will start in the 3rd week of April-2019 and will continue till 2nd week of May-2019.

Food technology will be definitely required in future so that the increased crop production or the Horticulture production can be utilized gainfully without being waste.
