Don't just go for tag. You should choose the courses, which is unique, because it is going to develop a good career. Talking of Kashmir or anywhere else, food industry is in great demand. Note, there is no use of just tag, if you are unemployed. Think about it, if you have the chance, go for it.

Your cut off is too good to get you a seat for B.Tech Food Technology at Anna University ACT campus. Try your best at the counseling. The JEE main scores are not taken into account for admission. All the best.

Eligibility criteria:
UG: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum qualifying marks in aggregate with physics, chemistry and biology as core subjects. Independent entrance tests for this program are also held by the various state, central, and private universities which mostly require 50% as the prerequisite to appear for the test.
PG: Candidates must hold a degree in Bachelor of Engineering/B.Tech in Food Technology/Food and Processing Technology along with a good score in entrance tests held for PG program held by the various state, central and private universities.

In terms of salary I would say to be a food inspector is a better option. If you GET selected as manager salary would be approximately 40,000/- in hand.

Food technology is a branch of Science in which the food Science is applied in manufacturing and reservations of food products. The food processing industries manufacture a large variety of food products. They include the primary foods like rice and wheat products, oil, sugar and pulses.

Hi Ronak, Let me give a brief detail about the NET exam. The NET stands for National Eligibility test which is conducted for the lectureship at the university level and to pursue Ph.D. or junior research fellowship. There are UGC NET and CSIR NET Exams are conducted to select the eligible candidates for the same purpose. Let me tell you that the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the NET Exam is post-graduation degree. The final year in Post-graduation, can apply for the NET exam.
