M.Sc. Food Science and Technology Eligibility
Candidate should possess B.Sc in Food Science and Technology, Food Science and Quality control, Food Technology and Management, Agriculture, Horticulture and Home Science with a minimum of 50% marks.
All the candidates eligible as mentioned with above eligibility criterion have to pass entrance examination conducted by the Department of Food Science & Technology in respective institutes.

Eligibility to study M.Sc in food technology from Lady Irwin College:
1) Eligibility for entrance mode admissionCandidate must have completed B.Sc. (Hons) or B.Sc. in Home Science or Food Technology or Post Graduate Diploma in dietetics and Public Health Nutrition from any other recognized university with 55% aggregate.
2) Eligibility for Merit mode admission
Candidate must have completed B.Sc. (Hons) in Home Science or Food & Nutrition from University of Delhi (in 10+2+3 scheme of examination) with 60% aggregate.

Eligibility for B.Sc. in Food Technology
Candidates aspiring for admission to the course are required to fulfil the following minimum eligibility criteria.
10+2 education completed in the Science stream, from a recognised educational Board.
Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Biology/ Home Science as the main subjects at the 10+2 level.
A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the 10+2 level.
