Pydah College Of Dairy And Food Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityB.E. / B.TechCandidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering or any other examination recognised as equivalent there to, from a recognised Institute/ University, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are also eligible.
Candidates who have appeared in Diploma in Engineering and who are awaiting their results can also apply on provisional basis.
Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.
Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2023) and an upper age limit is 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC/ST candidates as on 31st December of the year of admissions (2023).

Both Agricultural Engineering and Food Technology is an excellent field from an educational purpose. However, B.Tech in Agricultural Enginnering is a widely known field hence the competition is higher, making it a challange to get a good placement. While B.Tech in Food Technology is a new field and is yet to be known to so many .After persuing B.Tech in agriculture engineering, one can become an agricultural engineer , crop researcher, microbiologist, plant physiologist and much more. On the other side , student persuing B.Tech in Food Technology also has so much to choose from like a good consultant, food microbiologist, production manager, private food inspector , food research scientist among many others. The career prospects after both the fields is a handful and more. Saying one is better than the other is not possible. You should go for what intersted you more among the two. However while talking about figures , food technology is something new and is yet to be extremely competitive like Agriculture Engineering.So a degree in B.Tech in Food Technology is definitely better than B.Tech in Agricultural Enginnering in terms of good placement. However both fields are intersting on their own , and are being chosen by a vast majority of students nowadays.

The cutoff marks will be released in the form of a closing score/rank trend for various courses, such as B.Tech, M.Tech, and PhD in Food Technology. The college website may provide information on the minimum cutoff for M.Tech at MIT School of Food Technology 2023, which may vary year by year.The eligibility criteria for MIT School of Food Technology are different for each program. For the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program, candidates must have passed XII Std. (Science) in the 10+2 pattern with a 50% aggregate from the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination. For the Master of Technology (M.Tech) program, candidates must have a Master's degree in Food Science/Food Technology with a prerequisite of four years BTech/equivalent degree program, with a minimum of 70% aggregate. For the PhD program, candidates must have a Master's degree in Food Technology or its equivalent qualification from a recognised university or institute. Additionally, candidates must qualify for the relevant entrance exam, such as MHT CET, JEE Main, PERA CET, NEET, or GATE, depending on the program.
