You have not written about the course name for which information is required. However if you are asking about the M.Tech Food technology, than the eligibility criteria is given below. Eligibility criteria : B.E. Or B.Tech. (Food Science and Technology or Food Engineering or Dairy Technology or Agricultural and Food Engineering or Biotechnology) or M.Sc. (Food Science and Technology or Dairy Technology or Foods and Nutrition) or equivalent. So from above Mathematics is not necessary here.

It is not necessary to take biology in class 12th as the major subjects required for food technology are PCM (PHYSICS, chemistry, maths), but taking biology would be helpful as this course is about food which directly relates to biology because human system, metabolism, nutrition, food microbiology and other aspects of biology are involved.

Eligibility criteria :
1. Candidates born on or after 1st July, 1999 and a pass in Intermediate or its equivalent with minimum CGPA of 7.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana and other South Indian States are eligible to appear for the admission test.
