You need to earn a Bachelor's degree in sociology, psychology or criminal justice. Coursework can be related to law, police Science and statistics. Gain some experience. An undergraduate degree may be sufficient for entry-level positions. Forensic scientists look at the evidence keeping certain scientific rules and principles in mind. You need to study books and cases related to this field. Watch serials or movies on forensic Science. And you need to study this course with confidence, focus and concentration.

Graduation with 50%. Mandatory Course: B.Sc.
Candidate must have studied at least 2 year (4 semesters) of 3 years degree course in any 2 subjects from the following:
1. Physics
2. Chemistry
3. Biology (Zoology/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Physical Anthropology).

You can easily grab a seat, if you score well in your class 10th and class 11th examination. Since the interview usually takes place before the class 12th results are declared so you will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained in 10th and 11th. If your interview goes well and you do the written exam well you will easily get a seat. There's no such limitation of seats. It all depends on the marks obtained by you. Good Luck.
