Eligibility for M.Sc. In forensic Science:
Candidates holding Bachelors Degree in relevant disciplines such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Criminology, Forensic Science, and Science are eligible to pursue this course. Minimum aggregate marks required is 45-55% marks. It may vary from one College to another. This may vary from college to college.

Dear, Vedprakash! In Maharashi Dayanand University, the admission for M.Sc forensic science is through counseling, based on the marks obtained in Entrance Test conducted by the Maharshi Dayanand University itself.

Most of the job prospects for forensic scientists are in the government sector, particularly in various law enforcement agencies such as police, the legal system and the investigative services of the central government and state governments. However, some private agencies too offer job opportunities to those who have some qualification in the field. A major chunk of trained forensic scientists are hired by the Intelligence Bureau (IB), the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), etc. Another interesting career, rather the most attractive option for forensic scientists is teaching in institutes which impart education in forensic Science.
