You can apply for education leave form your department. Various distance universities offer various short & long term courses in forestry or allied subjects. Uttarakhand Open University, IGNOU, Anamali University etc. Offer such courses in distance mode. You can also try to pursue Bachelor degree with two or more of the subjects, namely Mathematics, Physics Chemistry Botany, Zoology, Forestry, Geology, Agriculture, Statistics, Horticulture and Environment or Bachelor degree in Agriculture or Bachelor degree in Engineering for future prospects like departmental exam & PCS RFO exams etc. In distance mode.

Hi. Teaching Profession in Government Sector after B.Sc. Forestry
The graduates can opt for B.Ed. Course so that they can enter in schools as teachers. More over if they apply in for the Masters degree in the same field, it will help them to get better job prospects in the academic field. Yes, your are eligible to do B.Ed after B.Sc. Programme. Guideline for B.Ed admission :- The qualification required for B.Ed is a candidate should have a graduation degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. It would be better to continue with Maths or allied higher studies. Also Biology is needed at 12th level. B.Sc. Forestry has scope in IFS, agriculture department, Banks, agro based company, teaching etc. Some government job specifically require graduation in forestry. Few good option after UG Maths could be -
- B.Ed teaching)
- MBA ( Finance). .
