The admission process generally varies across colleges. Most institutes who offer the course admit students based on their performance in a relevant entrance test. Some institutes conduct their own entrance tests for offering admission. A few institutes also provide direct admission based on the candidates score at the 10+2 level. Candidates who have qualified the All India Entrance Exam of ICAR are eligible for admission to agricultural universities that offers forestry courses.
