The public sector jobs includes work in zoological parks, wildlife ranges, corporate having their own plantations for timbering, wildlife research institutes, Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) and its affiliated institutes, wildlife department, forest department, national parks & sanctuaries, forest nurseries. They can also apply for the Central government through the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Thanks.

Eligibilty for M.Sc forestry:Graduation (B.Sc Forestry, B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Horticulture, B.Tech Horticulture, B.Tech, Agricultural Biotechnology. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation. No, you are not eligible for this course. Thanks.

Graduation or another such equivalent course in a relevant discipline should be completed from a recognized university. Graduation needs to have been completed in any of:
Sc. (Forestry)
Sc. (Agriculture)
Sc. (Horticulture)
Tech. (Horticulture)
Tech. (Agricultural Biotechnology).
A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation. Thank you.

Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria for M.Sc Forestry course offered at Forest Research Institute, if they possess Bachelor's degree in Science with at least one of the subject from Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Forestry.
