Without Biology as your core subject in Class 12, you cannot pursue a Forestry course. Under the Forestry course, you'll get to study subjects like Biology & Botany, Forest Genetics and Tree Improvement/Cytology and Genetics, Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology, etc., for which, Biology as a foundation subject is mandatory.

In the Indian Forest Service Examination, forestry is the optional subject with the highest success percentage (27.2%). For the last ten years, at least 15 students from the Evolution Forestry Programme have been selected from the IFS final list.Forestry, as a Science discipline, has a straightforward and well-defined curriculum. With appropriate planning from us, you can complete the entire course in a fair amount of time while still having time for General Studies. Following thorough coverage and note-taking, revision is also rapid and efficient.

The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests is the highest-ranking officer in the Indian Forest Service, responsible for managing the status of India's forests, environment, and wildlife issues. It is the highest rank of an Indian Forest Service officer in a state. In some cases, states may have more than one PCCF position, in which case one of them is designated as the Head of Forest Force (HOFF). In their activities, HOFF/PCCF is assisted by APCCFs, Chief Conservator of Forests, Conservator of Forests, and field-level functionaries such as DFOs and Range Forest officers.

No, the NEET exam is not required for Forestry course admission. The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, or NEET-UG, is an entrance test in India. Because it is an agricultural degree, the Forestry course does not require NEET scores, but NEET is required for Medical degree programs.

In my opinion, BSc Forestry is the best course. This programme lasts 4 years and is divided into 8 semesters. Specializations in BSc Forestry include Dendrology, Forest Ecology, General Forest Microbiology, and Forest Management. This programme prepares students to manage plantations, diverse cash crops, sanctuaries, botanical gardens, and forests.A candidate must have a class 12th or equivalent Diploma from a recognised board and a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying examination to be eligible for a BSc Forestry.
