In India, and otherwise too, the French programme is available as a short-term/ crash course, certificate, diploma, and at degree levels. A candidate can select the type of course as per their requirement, meaning, if it is for business or travel purposes then a short-term or a certification course will be enough. Other than French, English, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Arabic are few foreign languages that most students go for. These candidates are hired across various group of nations which are leaders in export-import businesses as language translators are required for adminsitrative efficiency. Candidates are also required to possess additional working proficiency in these languages. As such there are no pre-requisites, but it is always suggested to have a good command of English language especially grammar and vocabulary. English is considered to be the most popular and widely spoken language across the globe. There are lots of linguistic similarities as well.
