Masters in a foreign language is a good decision. Colleges normally try to help students to get placed. In your case too they will make efforts but success depends on requirements at that point in time. In the coming years, there will be a requirement of translators and here too you can get employment.

Hello Manju,
It's indeed heartening to know your desire to learn a foreign language. But there is no Diploma. There are certificate courses then graduation and then PG, etc. If you can attend college and if local college is offering this graduation then you go for it. Else this course is also available via distance education also.

Hello Varun,
Are you sure about this college offering certificate course in French? At least I could not find one. But in general, fees for certificate courses is about Rs.5K. I am attaching a link of the college. Please let me also know if I gave made an error. thanks.
