Hello Divya,
The syllabus of DU's entrance exam for MA in French is the syllabus of BA. This, as well as question paper along with answer key, is normally available on the website of DU. Half the seats are filled by merit based on marks of BA, while remaining half are filled up based on entrance exam result. Basically, it means, for those who have scored less in BA, one more opportunity to gain admission.

Hi Manveen!
Yes, you can apply. Any candidate who has completed his 10+2 from a recognized education board is eligible to apply for the certificate course in French. The fee for this course is not available online on its official website. I would suggest you to contact the university directly for the information.

Hello Sharva,
Normally, colleges do allow students to join classes once again if they fail in exam. Of course they will be charging fees. But then it's to be expected.

Hi Mohit, Most of the colleges select students based on the marks obtained in their higher secondary examination. Candidates who have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% of marks are eligible to apply. The percentage may vary from one college to another college. Eligible candidates must appear for an entrance test which is conducted by colleges or universities.

They test basically your GK, there will also be some questions related to France. And a bit of logical reasoning. The exam is completely multiple choice based.
