In regular B.Tech, you have to go to college and maintain a certain attendance percentage to be eligible to appear for exams. In distance B.Tech, you have to go to college only to appear for exams. In B.Tech, not all subjects are easy. In most of the subjects, you would need some expert guidance to understand them. In Regular B.Tech, you can get such expert guidance from the faculty members. However, In Distance B.Tech, enough guidance won't be available. In regular B.Tech, regular laboratory sessions help to understand how the theoretical concepts in books apply in the real world. However, this option isn't available in Distance B.Tec

There are various courses on offer by different universities including B.Tech programmes through various modes. Candidate seeking to pursue course through regular mode have to attend regular classes on daily basis. The degree obtained from this mode of study gets the maximum recognition. The candidate who has other priorities and is not able to attend classes on daily basis look to opt for the part-time mode. These classes are held on either weekend or in the evenings.

Hello Ajith, Once you get admission in lateral mode directly into second year of engineering of 4 years degree course, the syllabus, classes everything is same. In fact you join the students in second year who have already finished their first year in the college in the same course. Hence syllabus is exactly same as that for normal B.Tech. Best wishes to you.

I think you should go for B.Tech as in today's competitive India, minimum qualification is a Bachelors degree. With the number of jobs decreasing and competition increasing, I think a B.Tech will help polish your skills and also, help you with your career path.

B.Tech lateral entry is specifically designed for students who pursue Diploma after class 10th. Regular B.Tech gives you more option to get into the top colleges across the country via exams like JEE, BITSAT, MHTCET, VITEEE, etc. Not all top colleges accept a lateral entry. Hence, will recommend you to opt for regular B.Tech
Top companies prefer all, I.e. top college, good grades and sound knowledge. Top companies don't visit mediocre colleges. Hence, you have to be the best in all the domains.
