No, your OBC certificate is must. For taking admission in this college, you need to have your own OBC certificate. If your father's certificate is made, your certificate will also be made easily. Go to your nearest SDM office and fill the form with all the documents.

I am sure no one will say part-time is better than the full-time. You can complete the full-time course under the direct guidance and regular supervision of your guide and it adds to your real knowledge as well. However, if you are doing a job and cannot leave that to do full-time Ph.D, then you should opt for the part-time course. Both the modes have compulsory course work in which you need to attend the classes.
