Honors is an upgraded version of B.Com and every upgraded version is always better than the previous one. Also there is a beneficial factor related to it. That's when you go for MBA as your post-graduation degree at the time of admission process you will be given more preference over the other ones. Not to mention, it is a fact that same trend follows when you sit for campus placements or any kind of placement. So it's always preferable to go for hons rather than B.Com if you have an option because in some way or another it will help you at some stage in your life.

Hello Sahil,
The arrangements that you are seeking are not possible. Once you take admission in BA in IGNOU, why do you want to change over? IGNOU in itself has a good reputation. You may meet the principal of the regular college seeking his/her advice, but I am afraid it's not feasible.

In B.Sc You learn everything in general but you don't get any specialisation like botany, zoology, physics, chemistry or maths. You become simple Science graduate. But the third year or B.Sc. Honors give you a specialisation like botany zoology and physics etc. Till 2 years you study general course of Science along with subject you entered on third year you specialisation on specific subject. It is advisable to do BSc hons because it gives you a much better scope for further studies.

Hi Rahul,
Yes, you can do regular M.Tech after distance B.Tech. There is not any basic difference between regular and correspondence course, as far as degree is concerned. The value of both the degrees means -Degree with regular and correspondence is same. You can get government seat in B.Tech college by scoring good rank in GATE entrance test. Thanks.

Dear Rajat,
The selection process for full-time MBA in FMS are mainly based on graduation, a candidate must have passed in graduation from a recognised board with minimum 50% and the score achieved in CAT matters a lot.
Regards.
