Distance/Correspondence BTech allows for more flexibility in terms of learning pace and location, but the content and standards of education should be equivalent to those of regular programmes. Regular BTech programmes typically offer more opportunities for hands-on experiences through laboratory work, workshops, and projects. While some Distance/Correspondence BTech programmes incorporate practical components, these may be limited or require students to arrange for local facilities.
