Yes, the authorities will use the GCET cutoff for the counselling and seat allotment process. Candidates who meet the cutoff are expected to have a higher chance of admissions into the respective college and course. By referring to the previous years' cutoff trends, the candidates can prepare for the seat allotment process. However, admissions will not be guaranteed since other factors will also be considered for seat allotment in the courses offered by the participating institutes of the state.

Dear Uday, I cannot say anything about Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology or Chitkara University - Himachal Pradesh. But being alumni of LPU, I can share details of the engineering programme at LPU with you.
