Hi, Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology offers undergraduate courses in Technology with eight specialisations. Under its postgraduate programme, the institute offers an MBA and MCA programme with an intake of 60 seats each. The courses offered by GCET are approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Admissions into the courses are on the basis of UPSEE counselling, further if seats are vacant, then they are filled with the management quota. The institute also accepts admission through its own entrance test called Galgotias Engineering Entrance Examination. (GEEE). Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Selection Criteria: Firstly, by the qualified candidates of JEE Main/UPSEE (current year), who fulfill the eligibility, Students are also selected through Galgotias Engineering Entrance Examination. Well, I Do not have any idea about any other college/university, However being an alumnus of LPU, I must say that LPU is best for this programme :
The B Tech ECE degree at LPU is an Engineering programme that integrates topics from fundamental sciences to technology with applicable practice through laboratories and projects, allowing students to develop problem-solving abilities while meeting industry standards. Signal Processing, Communication Systems, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, 5G Technology, and other fields will be covered. Electronics and communication are two of the trendiest issues in modern technology. ECE graduates are in high demand in both the public and private sectors for this reason. ECE students can also show that they can prioritize software above hardware. Labs/Workshops: Students who study ECE from LPU get an opportunity to do practical work in their field more than theoretical as LPU has Robotics and Automation lab, Bosch Lab, and other workshops conducted by this department such as Robotics workshop, Labview workshop, and many more. Specializations Offered in ECE: Power Electronics, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, DSP, Robotics And Automation, VLSI, and many more which helps to do more research in their field. Research: All the faculty members are really helpful in all aspects whether it is academics or any other. My guide during my programme helped me a lot in my research work and I published 2 International Conference Papers in IEEE-Explore. Many students have published research papers and patents in International Journal and Conferences. LPU is best in every aspect such as Infrastructure, Unbeatable placements, scholarships, and all. Dear Student, I'm not sure about the CSE programme at Galgotias Educational Institutions or AKGEC, but as a former LPU student, I'd like to share some information regarding the LPU CSE programme with you. I'd like to highlight a few reasons why CSE is effective at LPU. Good Placement: For CSE students, LPU has a good placement record. Every year, around 500 organizations, both national and multinational, come to LPU for job placement. Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and others are some of the companies in which they are placed. According to the latest data, the package grabbed by the students of CSE and ECE is about 46.4 Lacs per annum. The major thing I loved about LPU for placement is that it offers placement classes to students starting in their first year, which helps students to prepare for placement till their last year of study. Scholarships: Every year, LPU awards scholarships to deserving students. Specialties: While studying CSE, students can choose from a variety of specializations to further their knowledge in areas like as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, and so on. Both are fine but let me share the experiences of my friends who had done their graduation from LPU .As They are placed in eminent institutions by completing their study from LPU as they found themselves quite fortunate! So I will be sharing certain details of LPU with you. An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications.
