Hi Snehasish,
Obtain a degree in the field. You will find a good number of colleges offering B.Sc in game design and animation etc. You may also consider pursuing your studies abroad in countries like Canada, Ireland , Netherlands etc which have a very strong game design industry. After completing your studies, you can find a job there and work for some years until you get a PR or come back to India.

Hi Ram,
A certification in web design is a professional qualification for those already experienced in web designing. If a student already has sufficient knowledge, the only work required to complete a web design certification is an exam.

Dear Ankit,
IIT is a brand name and anything you learn from an IIT has its own scope. However, it is not a must to go to an IIT to learn game design. As you can see people are learning game design even from the internet. But, procuring a degree from a design college is a good idea as it adds value and gives you a complete idea of the practical challenges you might face once you start designing the game, market culture, challenges and trends of the industry etc. A real life hands on experience in a well-established studio and thorough coaching from the professionals is always a plus point.
