Hi Pawanpreet,
To become a Game Designer, you must get a good knowledge of 3D software as well as pre-production. Usually in Games the environment is created in 3DSMax and Character animations in Maya, only the models are made with less polygons and more textures.
So choose a program that Teaches you these software. It would not matter whether the program is called Game Design program or not. Rest, to become a Level Designer you must have a passion for game design. Also you must have passion for playing all kinds of games including:
1. Card Games
2. Dice Games.
3. Sports, etc.

Hi Dubey,
The basic eligibility to join gaming course is to pass 12th in any stream from recognized board. You may even join after graduation. Game designing is increasingly been seen as a serious career option. There are many well-known game companies in the market such as Csharks ltd., Smackall, Synapse etc.

Game design is an application of Digital Media and Animation segment. You may learn pre production with sketching, graphic design etc ,production using 2d-3d Animation & post production using Editing & vfx. You may opt to learn these skills from any leading Animation School.
Animation related programs are offered by lot of Government Colleges and Autonomous Institutes & Universities.
While choosing any institute ensure that you are taught by Experienced & proficient Mentors. Also ensure adequate infrastructure, industry interface & validate placement track record of alumni's. Learning Software alone won't help you.

While choosing any institute ensure that you are taught by Experienced & proficient Mentors. Also ensure adequate infrastructure, industry interface & validate placement track record of alumni's. Learning Software alone won't help you.

It is definitely possible for a commerce student to pursue game designing.It depends on your creativity how good you can be at this.
If you are creative enough then this is the right field for you.
.You will be provided with the diploma course as these type of courses will get you job ready in a few months and are also cost effective.
Only your work is what that will be taken into the consideration during the placement.So,i recommend you to visit a good animation institution so that you can make a bright future ahead.
