B.Sc. Game design was introduced in 2017, I know this because my cousin got admission in the first batch of this course. As per the eligibility you need to have 50% in your 11th and 12th respectively. As his feedback, I would like to recommend that LPU is one of the best places in India for Multimedia, Graphics, and Gaming. The faculty members are from the industry like red chilies Studios, Prime focus studios and they have experience of more than 15 years. The multimedia department has a separate block and has well-equipped labs with dell workstations to handle high-end software like adobe after effects, Unity Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Nuke, Fusion, Z brush, photoshop, etc. Even the department has good quality of resources like Black magic cinemas cameras, canon cameras, trolly, jib, and well-equipped special VFX studio with permanent Chroma backgrounds. Placements are also great. This year also his friends and juniors got placed in companies like Amazon, rockstar games, Kony India, Xentrix studios, Lolly POP Design Studio etc. With average packages of 5 Lacs per annum and maximum packages are 8 to 10 Lacs.

The B.Sc. Gaming course has been started in 2017 so first batch will be pass out in this year but other courses like B.Sc. Or B. design in Multimedia and Graphics has good placement records and as per the previous records gaming students also going to place at very good company. I am an alumni from LPU and as per my experience in this field LPU is best place India to learn Animation, Gaming and graphics. First of all, There is separate Department Called Multimedia which comes under school of design III. This Department has well-equipped labs with high end workstations and it has gaming studios also where students can play and test the games on play station, PC and x box platform. Multimedia students of LPU has campus placements in companies like Amazon ( as 3d Artist), Rockstar games, Kony India, xentrix studio, Dq entertainment, Prime focus, Green gold animation and so on with maximum packages of 8 Lacs per annum and average packages are 5 Lacs per annum. After b. design in multimedia and graphics and even Masters degrees also. Faculty members are well experienced and specialised and everyone from industry having More than 8 to 10 years of experience in their respective field. Everyone is so helpful and good mentors. Reality is LPU is always give platform of placement to students even they give soft skills and personality development classes also so students of creative field also do well in presentations of their work and designs. Dear Ritika, Yes, LPU is good for game design. You should have a minimum of 12th class to get admission to this programme. A Bachelor in Game Design can help you step into the world of games with adequate knowledge about how games are created, along with substantial practical experience. At LPU in this course, you will learn theory as well as practical aspects of designing different types of games.
