Each student can appear for the GAT exam once for one course in one phase. Authorities does not provide re-appearing students with credentials by considering it an unfair practice of duplicate application. Candidates can apply for courses while filling the single application form.

NDA answer key will be released separately for Maths and GAT soon after the exam is over. The answer key will be made available for all sets of test booklets-A,B, C, D. The answer key will be released unofficially by coaching institutes in PDF form. There will be a total of 150 questions in GAT. Each section of the exam will be held for 2 ½ hours. The GAT section will be for 600 marks. The GAT section is divided into two parts. Part A comprises English while Part B consists of General Knowledge. The previous year's NDA answer key released by coaching institutes are provided at Shiksha portal.

GITAM Admission Test (GAT) will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam will be held in online mode. Candidates will have to report at the allotted GAT exam centre. Each candidate will be provided with the desktop and mouse. Candidates will have to use the mouse to mark the correct answer on the screen. In CBT mode, the exam duration will be mentioned on the screen.

The GITAM Admission Test (GAT) is administered in English language only. This means that all information of the exam, including instructions, questions, and answer choices, are presented in English. Candidates planning to take the GAT 2025 must have a strong understanding of English to thoroughly grasp the test content and accurately express their responses. Since no other language options are provided, proficiency in English is crucial for success in the exam.
