The Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) will hold the GITAM Admission Test (GAT) in around 8 phases. The exam will be held at a national level and in various states across the nation in computer-based test mode and for a few courses, in an online proctored test. GAT is mandatory for admission to various UG and PG courses offered at GITAM's Vishakapatnam, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and GIMSR campuses. The candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions and qualify the GAT exam become eligible for admission to GITAM.

GITAM GAT 2025 application forms will be out anytime soon. Before applying, candidates has to ensure that they met the prescribed eligibility criteria. The application fee for GITAM GAT was INR 1200 for one group, and INR 2400 in case the candidates applied from 2 different groups.

No, all the questions in the GAT question paper will be objective type questions and will be in MCQ format. Candidates will be given four options for each question. Candidates will have to select the correct option for each question. GAT question paper will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions. Each question will be for one mark. There will be a negative marking for any wrong answers. Candidates will have to attempt the 200 questions in 60 minutes. There will be no sectional time limit to attempt the GAT exam sections. GAT 2025 exam will be held mutiple times in a year in computer based mode across 27 cities in India.
