No, the GATE exam will be conducted on the prescribed dates as published on the website. The details of the exam paper (date and time) will be mentioned on the GATE admit card.

No, only a printed hard copy of the GATE hall ticket is accepted. Soft copies on electronic devices are not allowed and may lead to disqualification. The GATE admit card was released on January 7, 2025 and can be downloaded using their enrollment ID and password.

Your application will be marked DEFECTIVE. You will be intimated by email, SMS or phone call from your respective Zone to RECTIFY your DEFECT (by uploading a new photograph and signature). Only a hard copy is required to enter the GATE exam centre. Candidates must provide their GATE enrollment ID and password to download the hall ticket. No, only the hard copy of the admit card (printed in colour) is allowed for entry in the exam hall along with an original Photo ID. GATE admit card 2025 will not be issued to the candidates whose registration is incomplete or unsuccessful. If the authorities find any information, not in the prescribed format or is doubtful, the GATE application will be rejected and the admit card will not be issued. Students might face some problems while downloading the GATE hall ticket 2025. The problem might be due to slow internet connectivity or a heavy load on the server. In such situations, candidates should try downloading the admit card after a short duration. In case any candidate forgets their application ID/Enrollment ID or password, they can reset it. In case a candidate has forgotten their password, they can reset it from the GOAPS portal. GATE admit card is a mandatory document that has to be carried to the examination hall along with an original ID proof for entry inside the examination hall. Therefore, candidates are advised to check all the mentioned details on their GATE admit card 2025. In case of any discrepancy, please contact the helpdesk at any of the zonal IITs for assistance or mail their concern to the zonal IIT with a copy of the admit card. In case there are any wrong details on the admit card, candidates must immediately inform their zonal center, as admit cards with unclear information will not be allowed. The GATE admit card will be available a few days before the exam date. Candidates who have registered for the GATE 2025 exam can download their admit card from the official website. One can follow the below-mentioned steps to retrieve the forgotten password or Enrollment ID:
- Visit the official website, click on login and then click on Forgot Enrollment ID or Password. A new page will appear. - If you remember the Email Address/Enrollment ID but you have forgotten the password, click on "Request for an OTP"
- You will get an SMS and email on your respective registered mobile number and email id. - Use it to login again
