Yes, Candidates will be given a correction window to change/ modify the already filled details in GATE application form. Candidates can change the subjects for an additional fee during the correction window. Candidates will not be able edit any detail after the correction window is closed.

Candidates are advised to rectify the mistake if any are found in the documents. If a candidate fills in the GATE application form with mismatched details such as name, date of birth, etc. his/her application form will show DEFECTIVE after submitting the application form. The application form also stands a chance of getting rejected altogether. So, candidates must keep in mind that their details in all the documents are properly matched, if not please make sure to get them modified before the GATE 2025 application form.

No, Candidates who are in final/ 3rd or above year in their graduation only can fill GATE application form. Candidates in 1st or 2nd year of graduation cannot fill in the GATE application form.

Yes, A candidate can fill the application form with newly created email, However candidate must not change provided email for communication purpose.

No, Candidates must know that each email is linked to a unique enrollment number and password. GATE exam conducting authorities allows one e-mail address to be used to submit only ONE GATE application form. Explore more: https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/gate-exam-application-form

Yes, Candidates will be given a correction window to change/ modify the already filled details in GATE application form. Candidates can change the subjects for an additional fee during the correction window. They can add or change the second paper only once. Candidates will not be able edit any detail after the correction window is closed.

Candidates willing to fill out GATE 2023 application form can find all the required details below:Personal information should be required to be filled in, including name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parents' name, etc. The GATE 2024 scorecard will be issued as per the name entered in the application form. Prefix/title such as Mr/ Shri/ Dr/ MS/ Smt, etc. should not be used before the name.Address for communication (including PIN code)Eligibility degree detailsCollege name and address with PIN codeGATE paper (subject)Choice of GATE examination cities

A candidate will most likely be allotted a centre in the examination city of his or her first choice. Only in cases where there are too many candidates opting for a certain city as their first choice, the other two choices become relevant. That is, candidates will have to choose the GATE exam cities for 2024 during the application process. Check below for the documents needed to be uploaded to complete the GATE 2024 registration process:
- A high-quality image of a candidate's photograph conforming to the specified requirements (File size should be between 2KB and 200KB)
- Good quality image of candidate's signature conforming to the specified requirements (File size should be between 2KB and 150KB)
- Scanned copy of the Eligibility Certificate in pdf format (Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate or Certificate from the Head of the Department/ Institute (format specified in Appendix A of the Information Brochure) (File size should be between 10KB and 300KB)
