The minimum eligibility criteria is: If you have Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or Masters degree in Science department are applicable for GATE Exam. There is no marks criteria. So, YES you are eligible to apply for the GATE exams.

You have to score good marks in GATE exam then only you can get admission in any good college for M.Tech as you have scored less, you can take one more chance, prepare well and take GATE exam again next year so that you can score good marks.

Eligibility:
Candidates of Indian nationality will be eligible to appear for GATE 2020.
Candidates from countries other than India will be also eligible to attempt GATE 2020.
After qualifying gate exam offered courses are:

If you have done BCA in your graduation then you can take GATE exam otherwise, you are not eligible for this.
