The GATE psychology (XH-C5) exam pattern is as follows:
The questions are divided into three sections: (1) General Aptitude (GA): There are 10 questions totaling 15 marks in this section. Mainly, all the IITs and PSUs conducts the GD and PI for the electrical engineering, as this is the only way to get to know about the candidate and his/her confidence level.

Hi Mayank,
BITS HD Entrance Exam is similar to GATE examination. If you are clear with your B.Tech subjects, and in touch with the concepts, you will do well. Preparation of GATE, gives you an upper edge in BITS HD Entrance exam, as the questions are not very different. All the best.

GRE and GATE are different things. GRE is for doing MS from foreign universities and GATE is for doing M.Tech from India.
To prepare for GRE , you should follow Manhattan book.
