33 percent minimum GATE score required for a Ph.D. programme. Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must possess a valid GATE score or should have cleared other equivalent national exams. Qualification:
1- Master's degree in engineering, technology, or Science or an equivalent degree: 60 percent for the general category and 55 percent for the OBC, SC, and ST categories.
2- Master's degree in arts, commerce, or an equivalent degree: 55 percent for the general category and 50 percent for the OBC, SC, and ST categories. I hope this will help you.

No, it is not necessary, a GATE score for Bhabha Atomic Research Center because BARC conducts its own exam for graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students. BARC Exam Pattern:

28 marks in GATE exam are quite low, but it depends upon the cut-off list, so check the cut off list and if you qualify then proceed to IIT BHU.

25 marks are required to clear the GATE exam for general category candidates. A 50 percent GATE score is required for M.Tech ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) at R. V. If you want to get into research programme M.Sc, then I think a rank of up to 200 will be fine, but there will be a detailed technical interview. For the course programme (ME), a rank of 30 may or may not get you a seat. A rank of under 10 definitely will, this is generally applicable for all the different streams of GATE through which the Aerospace programme at IISc admits students. The course programme is fairly intensive with 15 courses and A.M.E. Project. My friends used to stay very busy with so much coursework.
