No, for management quota, you won't be asked these things and also after the 1st or 2nd round they only offer admission based on your conditions.

The purpose of the GATE exam is to test the students knowledge and understanding of their under Graduate level subjects in Engineering and Science. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and Science. GATE is conducted jointly by the IISC and seven IITs on behalf of the National Coordination Board GATE Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD).

Yes, you can apply for GATE. As per eligibility criteria, a candidate must be passed out or in final semester of the M.Sc/MA/MCA course, there is no minimum and maximum age limit for GATE. There are 24 subjects papers in GATE exam and one has required to choose only one from them. As you have completed yours MCA. So, you can opt for CS (Computer Science and information technology) subject code. GOOD LUCK!

The CSIR NET and GATE Exam is mainly conducted for the lectureship and Higher Studies. If you are preparing for the GATE and CSIR NET Exam in Chemistry/Chemical Science there are many coaching Institutes all over the India. While most of the candidates prepare for the exam by self or Online Coaching Study material provided by many Institutes.
