The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted by the IIT Roorkee on February 1, 2, 15 & 16, 2025 .GATE 2025 is being organised by Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR).

The GATE 2025 application fee during the extended application window is INR 1,400 for female, SC, ST and PwD category candidates. For all others, the fee is INR 2,300. Applicants can register for up to two test papers.Candidates who wish to apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering can do by applying at the official website.

NIT Meghalaya is a public technical university established in Shillong, Meghalaya, India in 2010. The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya accepts GATE scores for admission to its M. Tech courses. The GATE cutoff for NIT Meghalaya varies depending on the year and the specialization. The closing scores in the last round of the GATE cutoff 2024 ranged from 398 to 352 in the General AI category. The last round closing rank for M. Tech ranged from 356 to 424. The minimum GATE cutoff 2023 for M. Tech in CSE was 356. A score range of 600 to 700 is considered to be a good score.

Yes, you can appear for the GATE exam after completing a Diploma in Civil Engineering. This test is open to candidates with a Bachelor's degree. While a Diplom can still qualify you for the exam. The exact eligibility criteria for the GATE exam may varyfrom year to year and the syllabus for Civil Engineering is extensive. You should put in extra effort to bridge the knowledge gap between a Diploma and a Bachelor's degree.

GATE rank is the position or rank secured by the candidate in the examination. The rank will be offered to the candidate based on his/her performance in the GATE exam. The higher the marks, the higher will be the rank. Candidates with higher rank can get the opportunity to apply for top institutions, such as IITs and IISc. In such case, the GATE conducting authorities use the normalisation method to make it fair for everyone. GATE scores are calculated using the normalisation process. Due to the large number of applicants participating in the examination, GATE papers like Computer Science (CS) and Civil Engineering (CE) which are conducted in more than one session. In such cases, the GATE scores are calculated by normalising the marks depending on the difficulty level of the paper.
