The GATE 2025 has eight zonal centres namely - IISc Bangalore, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Madras.

A candidate can choose at least three exam cities while filling the GATE application form. The conducting authorities will conduct the GATE exam at around 200 exam centres from the issued list of GATE exam centres. IIITDM accepts GATE exam scores for admission to MTech courses. Based on the GATE 2024 cutoff for MTech, it can be said that students require a minimum of 372 marks to get admission into one of the specialisations. The IISc Bangalore cutoff 2024 for the M.Tech courses at the undergraduate level had been released for Round 6. The IISc Bangalore cutoff 2024 ranged between 350 and 665 for General AI students. Wherein, M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering was the most-sought after course in 2024.  According to IISc Bangalore GATE cutoff 2024, ME had the required score of 665. Yes, you can apply for an M.Tech programme at DTU (Delhi Technological University) without a GATE score, although there are few options available. The IIT Delhi M.Tech course is offered across different specialisations. IIT Delhi M.Tech admission is done based on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score.
