Yes. You can give GATE if yiu are pursuing you Bachelor's degree in technology from any officially recognised university/ institute.

Hello Vignesh,
Yes, you can do m.tech aeronautical engineering after B.Tech mechatronics.
In Mechatronics, you should have came across basis mechanical engineering subjects such as thermodynamics, strength of materials, statics and dynamics of machinery etc., which is useful when you pursue your Masters in aeronautics.

BSc ( of 3 years duration) graduates are not eligible to appear for GATE to seek admission in MTech. BSc graduates are eligible to appear for JAM (Joint Admission Test for MSc) to seek admission in IITs.

No, you cannot get admission. The eligibility criteria for M.Tech in any branch of IIT, Madras is minimum 60% in BE/B.Tech with a valid GATE score as per the cutoff in specific branch.

Hello Mahesh,
Yes, GATE exam is for BE graduates to get into IITs for pursuing ME or M.Tech. GATE scores are also being accepted by many other universities for M.Tech or ME programs.
