All the three are having the same scope because all the three departments merged long time back. Unfortunately, the syllabus committees of our universities are still sleeping. I do not know when they will wake up. ECE & EEE must learn and implement programming in all the 4 years. The same way the CSE must learn to implement electrical and electronics all the 4 years. Today 90% of electronic products call for programming. The IoT segment need lots of high end programmers.

For GATE exam there is no weightage for 12th marks. You should have a B.Tech degree only with a good score to appear for GATE exam.

Hello Ramkishor,
After doing B.Sc, you are not eligible to take GATE exam as it is for BE/B.Tech graduates to do M.Tech from IITs. Only with a B.Sc or BCA degree you cannot take GATE exam.
You can do M.Sc and then you can appear for GATE exam. You need to have M.Sc degree if you have done B.Sc, but if you have completed B.Tech or BE degree then you are eligible directly for GATE.

Yes, you can. IITs don't have any interest in the college you opted for UG. They only consider your GATE score.
