For EEE, it's better to read out each concept. The main subject on which you have focused more is maths, control system, signal and system, electrical machines, EDC, 4 marks question come from the microprocessor & microcontroller and power system. The textbooks for electrical machines-Nagrath Kothari, electronics-Milliman's integrated electronics, power system-CL Wadhwa, control system-M. Gopal, digital logic-Moris Mano, etc.
Make key notes and do study regularly.

GATE is highly competitive entrance exam where lakhs of candidates appear for examination and hence some tips and tricks are necessary to achieve the best results
Once should keep in mind the following things while preparing:
1. What are you aiming at? Top IITs/PSUs or you just want to qualify.
