Hey Mani,
Kindly specify in which college you want to take admission in so that we can help you. However if you still haven't decided for the college than following are some suggestions for you. Also, I would suggest you to not rely only on GATE score to take admission and apply for some other colleges also.

if you are in general category and your GATE score is more than 400 than you can apply in different IITs and NITs. If you are in reserved category than less GATE score you will get admission too. You have to apply in individual IITs.

Getting coached from an outside agency is not a must, but it helps in clarifying the doubts timely and also helps in making a good schedule for the studies. It provides you an opportunity to discuss the study material with other students which helps a lot. However, if you are confident yourself and already have a study group then you need not opt for coaching. But even them I would suggest to procure study material from a reputed coaching institite.

Hi Ahfaz,
Yes, you can take admission into M-tech course without GATE score card. You can take admission in state technical university affiliated colleges by appearing for an entrance exam conducted every year by respective state university/colleges etc.
With Gate score you may take admission in some renowned institute's like IIT's, NIT's, BIT's etc.
For list of colleges offering M.Tech in Civil Engineering :

Wish you luck.
