Candidates can check the results by logging in with their email address, password, and GATE enrollment ID. With the use of the result, candidates can examine their scores out of 100, their GATE qualifying marks, their AIR, and more. It should be noted that the authorities will utilise the raw results that each candidate received on their respective GATE paper to determine the scores. The authorities will also use a normalisation strategy to documents involving many sessions. As a result, we can say that the scorecard will be accessible a few days following the announcement of the answer key and results that same day.

GATE is not required for all M.Tech admissions at IIIT Hyderabad. Admission to most M.Tech programs at IIIT Hyderabad is based on the institute's own entrance exam, Postgraduate Entrance Examination .This exam focuses on assessing knowledge and skills relevant to the chosen M.Tech specialization. However, for the M.Tech in PGEE program, a valid score in GATE/CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design) is also accepted for admission alongwith PGEE, or you can appear for the PGEE itself.

IIT Delhi M.Tech admission is completely entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to the IIT Delhi M.Tech course must appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). However, BTech graduates from IITs with an overall CGPA of 8.00 out of 10 are exempted from GATE and are eligible for direct admissions. Apart from this, candidates are also requested to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria to be eligible for IIT Delhi M.Tech admission.
