For BITS Hyderabad ME course admission, candidates can apply with a valid GATE score. Apart from GATE, the candidates can also apply with a BITS HD entrance test score. Apart from this, for final selection, the shortlisted candidates also have to participate in the group discussion and personal interview rounds conducted by the institute. The institute releases a separate merit list for candidates who applied through GATE and BITS HD.

Yes, you can get admission to the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai for M.Tech without GATE, the institute accepts a valid score in GATE/ GAT-B and GPAT exams to offer admission to the M.Tech course. But for the same, students must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute. Hence, those with a valid score in GAT-B or GPAT in place of GATE can secure admission. This being said, as per the information collated from various sources on the internet, chances of getting a seat without GATE are generally on the lower end  as most of the time all the seats get filled via GATE only.
