The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has announced the GATE exam dates for 30 test papers. Each paper will be conducted on the dates scheduled by the organising institute. The slot and the exam date along with the time will also be mentioned on the GATE admit card. Hi Shiksha, You can find the GATE 2025 subject paper codes on the official IIT Roorkee website. The codes are two-letter abbreviations assigned to each subject, such as 'AE' for Aerospace Engineering and 'CS' for Computer Science and Information Technology.Hope this information helps. Yes, once the candidate know their exact GATE center location, they can plan their travel and accomodation (if required) in advance to avoid last minute issues.

Candidates can re-download their GATE admit card from the GATE portal using the log in credentials - enrollment ID and password. Ensure that candidates have multiple printouts for backup. The GATE admit card was released on January 7, 2025 and is now available for download.

The GATE exam hall ticket includes the exact address of your exam center. Use online maps or visit the center a day or two before the exam to familiarize yourself with the location. Make sure to reach the exam center 60 minutes before the exam time.

After downloading the GATE hall ticket 2025, candidates must carefully check all the details printed on the admit card, such as name, registration number, exam date, time, paper code, exam center address. If there is any discrepancy, immediately contact the authorities through GATE helpline number or email ID.

Yes, the exam center will arrange a qualified scribe free of charge. Candidates are not permitted to bring their own scribes. The GATE authorities will provided the scribe to the applicants.

Yes, a compensatory time of 60 minutes will be provided to candidates who have opted for scribe facility during the GATE examination. The scribe will be provided by the GATE authorities.
