GATE Mizoram accepts GATE score for admission to the M.Tech courses. GATE 2023 counselling was concluded after Round 1 for most of the M.Tech specialisations. As per the NIT Mizoram cutoff 2023, the Round 1 closing rank for MTech in Computer Science and Technology was 371for the General All India category student. In 2022, the Round 1 closing rank for M.Tech in CSE stood at 363. As per the eligibility criteria, aspirants must pass bachelor's degree in relevant subjects with at least 50% aggregate to apply for the M.Tech course. The university considers the eligibility and GATE score for providing admission.Aspirants who have not qualified GATE can appear for SRMJEEE (PG) conducted by the university. Eligibility of candidates are evaluate during document verification. In case an aspirant is unable to fulfill the requirements, his or her admission stands cancelled.

IISC Bangalore cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the MTech programmes. For the General AII India category candidates, the round 1 closing rank ranged between 350 and 665, among which Mechanical Engineering is the most competitive specialisation. A valid GATE score is required for admission to the M.Tech programme in the case of regular (non-sponsored) candidates. The requirement of GATE score is waived off for the candidates with MBBS degree as well as for the BTech graduates from IITs with a minimum overall CPI of 6.5 and a minimum CPI of 8.0 in the last two years in BTech. Additionally, A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (four-year programme) or a master's degree in Science with marks/ CPI not below the specified minimum is required for M.Tech admission.

The cut off for admission in MIT college of management is based on the category one falls in. If a candidate belongs from the general category he/she will get admission with the score of more than 50 in GATE for MIT College of Management . Also, if a candidate belongs from OBC category he or she will get admission with a scores of around 40 in GATE . In MIT College of Management if a candidate belongs from SC/ST category the cut off varies from 22 to 28.

To take admission in MIT College of Management for M.Tech there are some important points to be considered. For selection of candidate in these programme depends on the merit of PERA score /GATE score or MIT WPU score. GATE is one of the exams accepted by MIT College of Management for M.Tech followed by a merit interview which is conducted by MIT- WPU.

The admissions in College of Engineering Roorkee are done through counseling and seat allotment procedure of all the GATE qualified applicants. The applicants who have not qualified GATE will have to appear for the College entrance Test/Counselling. Apart from the Gate criteria, the Candidates who have qualified UKSEE examination on merit basis and have passed B.Sc. examination with Mathematics as one of the subject and securing minimum 60% marks in Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent Examination, only are eligible for direct admission in second year.
