The GATE conducting authorities offer scribe facility to candidates. However, to request a scribe for the GATE 2025 exam, candidates must fulfil the required criteria imposed for scribe candidates, which are as follows -Candidates with permanent disabilities of 40% or more, including visual impairments or locomotor disabilities affecting writing hand are eligible to apply for a scribe. Required medical certifications and documents must be submitted during the GATE registration.The details regarding the scribe facility will be mentioned on the GATE admit card.
