GATE is a national-level examination that aims to evaluate the knowledge and aptitude of candidates in preparation for admission to engineering and management programmes. There are 29 papers in the GATE 2024 examination. It is important to note that candidates will be allowed to appear in either one or up to two papers in the GATE 2024 examination. GATE 2024 exam will be conducted in February 2024. The authority will release the GATE 2024 exam pattern online on the official website. Candidates need to check out the GATE 2024 brochure. The pattern of the exam will provide insight to the candidate regarding the type and number of questions asked in the exam. The GATE 2024 exam will have a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks, out of which 10 questions carrying a total of 15 marks will be of General Aptitude. The GATE 2024 exam pattern comprises the marking scheme, the mode of examination, the question paper, the subject code, etc. That is, we can say that each GATE 2024 paper is for a total of 100 marks, in which General Aptitude (GA) is common for all papers (15 marks) and the rest of the paper covers the respective syllabus (85 marks).
